My grandparents’ names are Gerardo and Antonia; they’re my mother’s parents. And Francisco and Maria, they’re my father’s parents. My mom has a sister, she’s my aunt Vicky, she’s married to my uncle Juan and they recently had a baby, my cousin Victoria. My father has a sister as well, my aunt Manuela, she’s married to my uncle Ismael and they have two daughters and one son, Fabiola, Paola and Juan. My cousin Juan has a wife, her name is Maria, and they have a daughter, Valeria.

- Sofia: Well, my name’s Sofia Guerra, I’m from Maracaibo, Venezuela. I’m a sophomore in Law school and I’m studying in URBE.

- Andrea: Okay, which classes are you taking this quarter?

- Sofia: This quarter, I’m taking an Administrative Law class, an Advance Legal Writing class, a Human Rights class and an English class.

- Andrea: And how are you doing so far in your classes?

- Sofia: I’m doing okay in my Human Rights class, but I’m not doing so great in my Administrative Law class.

- Andrea: What about your English class?

- Sofia: I’m doing great! I really like my English class.

- This is a small Laptop. It’s lightweight, it has a webcam and you can use it to chat with your friends and to listen to music. It’s an excellent Laptop.

- This is a Digital Camera, you can take really good pictures with it, it’s small and cool, and it’s a bit expensive.

- This is a Camcorder, it’s new and expensive, and you can record really good videos with it. It’s small and lightweight.

- This is a DVD Player, it’s expensive and heavy, you can watch movies in it, and it’s a bit old.

Right now I’m in my room and I’m going to show you some items.

First, my candle collection. I love scented candles, and whenever I’m stressed out I just light them and that helps me a lot. Over here I have some of my CDs. There are ‘Fall Out Boy’ CDs and ‘Red Hot Chili Peppers’ CDs, among others. I also have a ‘Beatles’ DVD and some ‘Beatles’ cassettes. These are some pictures with friends, my family and my boyfriend, I really love to collect photo frames and put pictures all over my room. Here we have my computer, this was a gift from my mom and I do all my homework in it while I listen to music and I also watch lots of movies. Finally, here are some of my favorite items. They are My ‘Beatles’ Poster, my ‘Beatles LOVE’ CD, and of course my bed. I love ‘The Beatles’ as you can see, that’s why I like these items so much, they were really cool gifts. And I love my bed because I love to sleep all the time. Thank you.

Well hi! I’m from Maracaibo, Venezuela. I’m Venezuelan, I speak Spanish and my favorite city in the world is the lovely Paris.

Paris is the capital city of France… The language of this city is French and it’s the world’s most romantic place; you can feel the love in the air. The food is exquisite and it’s a very chic city. There are many interesting places that you can visit, like for instance, the Eiffel tower and the Notre Dame Cathedral. This is why I love Paris!

- Gustav Klimt. He was a painter, he was born in Baumgarten, Austria. He was Austrian and his language was German. That's one of his paintings, named 'Pallas Athena'.

- Paul McCartney, he's a british singer from Liverpool, United Kingdom and his language is british english. He was a member of 'The Beatles', my favorite band.

- Greta Garbo. She was an actress from Stockholm, Sweden. She was Swedish, and her language was Swedish. One of her famous pictures is 'Ninotchka', because it was one of the few pictures were she laughed.

- Robert Downey Jr. He's a New Yorker actor from United States, his language is english and one of my favorite movies of him is 'Sherlock Holmes'

Finally...

- Marcel Marceau. He was a mime from Strasbourg, France. He was French and his language was French.
